Alliances And Inlicensing

Entering into strategic alliances and in-licensing pipeline products has become an increasingly important activity for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The industry is challenged by the pressure to regularly launch new drugs. This challenge is increasingly met by partnering with other companies. Alliance databases can be used to assess competitors' activities, search for possible in-licensing candidates, and to benchmark deals terms.
